Starting point

West Yorkshire
BD18 4DD

Leaving Hirst wood we head through Saltaire before climbing up High Bank Lane and then down along Lee Lane into Wilsden before going on to Harden. We turn up to Ryecroft and the steepest bit of the ride before drawing breath at the Guide Inn. After heading down to Crossroads we skirt Haworth before going across to Oxenhope and our café stop. Suitably refreshed we climb out of Oxenhope and across the moor to Manywells before going down Whalley Lane and then across the moors above Wilsden to Sandy Lane and on to Saltaire via Nab Wood before arriving back at Hirst Wood.

Shortish but hilly ride across the moors to the west of Bradford via Saltaire, looping through Haworth and Oxenhope, where the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway will be running a service as it is half-term, before heading back past Denholme to our start point at Hirst Wood.

There are no off-road sections and the route follows roads that are predominantly quiet, suburban and rural.

We will stop at the Buffet Car situated at Oxenhope Station. I have not been there previously but the K&WVR website makes it look inviting.

All the usual stuff for this time of the year and make sure you have a spare inner tube. Also check that contact details are up to date on the Lets Ride website.

We never leave anyone behind
