The start will be at Wallingford (30 mins from Marlow) at 10:30am. We'll head Northeast to join the Ridgeway south of Watlington and follow it until we turn left into Chinnor. After a coffee stop we head back under the M40 on quiet lanes returning to Wallingford via Ewelme and Benson. About 30 miles.

Starting at Wallingford we will pick up the Ridgeway National Trail and follow it north-eastwards for approx 12 miles to Chinnor before looping back via country lanes.

This section of the Ridgeway is mainly a smooth gravel path and the returning lanes are undulating but no serious hills.

One cafe stop around halfway (Chinnor).

Please check the weather on the day and dress accordingly. You should also bring a puncture repair kit with either patches or a spare tube. Hybrid style or mountain bikes are ideal. Bikes with narrow, slick tyres may have difficulty with some of the off-road sections. All bikes must be in a safe roadworthy condition. Helmets are required and front and rear lights recommended.
