Starting from - The starting point is the free car park next to Magor square. If you can't get a space there, then there are 2 other nearby car parks in Withy Close and Sycamore Terrace (near the Co-op). Also on street parking is available. Please note there are no public toilets at the start but Magor services are on the way in and less than a mile away. NP26 3HY

A nice scenic route heading out from Magor through the St Brides valley. We then head over Carrow hill and then take a steady gentle climb over Highmoor hill. A downhill reward waits as we drop down Dewstow and then head through Caldicot using the cycle path in the park and then the castle grounds.
After a nice rest stop, we will head along the lanes to Crick and then along the cycle path to Caerwent. We then ride through the village and out to 5 lanes. From here we pick up the outbound route and retrace our steps back through St Brides valley into Magor.

A nice gentle ride looping to Caldicot to sample the best Welsh cakes around

This is a mostly on road ride using quiet country lanes and a small section of traffic free. No big hills but a couple of steady climbs.

We will stop at the new Castell Coffi near Caldicot Castle for refreshments.

Please wear a helmet and bring along some money and a lock for the cafe stop. Also it is always a good idea to carry a spare tube just in case.

We especially welcome newbies!
