Lymm dam circular

We will ride along the canal to Altrincham where we take the TPT until Lymm. We then use roads on short section before we find our café stop. After our stop, we go through Lymm dam nature reserve and back to the TPT. We remain on the TPT till we get to the canal in Stretford.
The reason why the ride is graded challenging is because it is 25 miles apart from this, the ride is not difficult.

This is a mostly off-road loop to Lymm where we will stop to a café before we carry on to Lymm dam

We will ride on canal tow paths and the Transpennine Trail. The paths can be muddy and have tree roots and potholes. Most of the ride is traffic free on paved tarmac suitable for mountain, gravel and hybrid bikes. There will be a few short sections on the road.

There will be opportunities to stop to take photos, have a drink etc.

Please wear a helmet, bring a bike lock, bike lights, inner tube and snacks/money for the café.
