Lumpy Ride to Bafflehaus

We'll meet at Cwmbran Crematorium at 10.00. There is parking on the road just outside the crematorium. We'll then head towards New Inn where we'll turn right onto Jerusalem Lane and head uphill, past Llandegfedd Reservoir, onto Glascoed where we'll cross the main road and turn up Rumble Street. This is quite a challenging hill to be climbed at your own pace! We then head down into the Usk Valley, towards Nantyderry and our, by then, much deserved coffee stop. This is a circular route, so after our coffee stop we'll climb back up to the canal and head back to Cymbran.

This is a hilly, but picturesque ride in the Usk Valley to the coolest coffee stop - Bafflehaus.

The first half of the route is along quiet country lanes, before picking up the Monmouth to Brecon Canal cycle path on our return journey. It is quite a lumpy, but very rewarding ride.

We'll stop at Bafflehaus, the biker cafe, for refreshments and toilet break!

There are no toilets at the start. Don't forget to bring a spare inner tube just in case of punctures.
