Loopy For Statues and Squirrels

This ride is suitable for MTB, CX or Hybrid bikes. The ride starts from the ECO centre adjacent to the Park and Ride Car Park and heads south along the Esplanade and follows the coastal road to Woodvale and then onto the Cheshire Lines path. We will follow the Cheshire Lines all the way through to Netherton were we will turn onto the canal path and then Rimrose Valley Park to Waterloo and the waterfront. We will take refreshments at Waterloo Place cafe and Gallery before heading north along the Sefton Coastal Path to Ainsdale and then onto the start finish point at the ECO Centre. We'll ride at a steady pace of 10 - 14 mph on this ride and we'll keep our pace at a level so that we can all stay together. Remember, this is not a race, but a leisurely ride at a pace to suit the slowest in the group! Please check your bike over the night before the ride, tyres inflated, all bolts tight, lubricated. Clothing, helmet & lights checked and ready. Please ensure you have a pump and a couple of spare tubes in case of punctures and a GOOD SECURE LOCK. It would be great to have some new & some familiar faces on this ride, you're all welcome & I look forward to riding with you. Please arrive at least 15 mins before the ride start time (09.20), so that we are able to get away at the stated start time of 09.35.
