Starting from - Starting from the carpark opposite the ship Inn Lathom. Note there are no toilets at the start.

Please arrive 10-15 minutes before the starting time for a quick bike check and ride briefing.


Although helmets are only recommended by law and not deemed to be essential, anyone not wearing a helmet will not be able to join the ride. Please be self-sufficient and arm yourself with spare inner tubes, bike levers and pump. Don’t forget your pennies for the café stop. Please ensure you bring along a drink for the ride. Also check you brakes and gears on your bike at least the night before. L40 4BX

This is another new route which is a relatively flat ride well 600ft climbing (but we might have to fight the wind)
Starting off we make our way around Burscough to Mere Brow, Banks and Hesketh Banks and down into Tarleton. a short stretch on the busy A59 then through Much Hoole, Walmer bridge and into Longton for our cafe stop ( 19 miles in) suitably refreshed we make our way to Midge Hall, Ulnes Walton, Mawdesley, Parbold Newburgh and back to the start.
