This quiet and relaxing route follows cycle path EV1 to Lochwinnoch. We'll cycle along Castle Semple Loch and, in Lochwinnoch, briefly divert from the cycle path to see the Calder Mill Waterfall. We'll have a break in Lochwinnoch for lunch/coffee/cakes. Return is on the same route (or by train if preferred).

Points of interest: Pollok House, Castle Semple, Castle Semple Loch, Calder Mill Waterfall.

The route is on mildly undulating cycle paths (mostly surrounded by nature) and some short sections of minor roads, ideal for a relaxing ride. Suitable for any kind of bike.

We will have a break in Lochwinnoch (halfway); there are shops and cafes in the area for lunch/coffee/cake. Please bring plenty of water for the ride.

Helmets are advised. Bring plenty of water for the ride, and some cash for coffee/lunch break in Lochwinnoch.
