FY8 5RL

The route distance and difficulty will be agreed with groups beforehand and a GPX provided if riders wish that.
PLEASE NOTE: You will be riding on public roads with all the associated hazards. By joining this ride you accept responsibility for your own safety and behaviour towards each other and others.
You further accept that whilst there is some organisation of groups and routes no risk assessments have been carried out and no ride leaders will be provided. These are group rides not guided rides and the organisers, livelikeralph or Apex Cycleworks are not liable you, your safety or your behaviour.

We leave Apex Cycleworks at 10am every Sunday morning. We ride in small groups of similar ability and confidence and we are very supportive never leaving anyone behind. Initially starting at around 15-20 miles this distance, difficulty and speed will increase through the months as you become more capable and more confident.

We ride on public roads discussing and agreeing the route before depending on each groups needs. Whilst we endeavour to ride on quiet B roads we will have to ride on major roads to get there.

Any rides 40miles+ will have an agreed café stop. All groups will stop for each other eg Water breaks, toilet stops and will always stop at major junctions to re group. You'll not be left to ride alone (unless you want to of course!)

Helmets. 2 x tyre levers. 2 x Inner tubes. pump. Puncture repair kit. Water. Snacks. Weather /Cycling appropriate clothing. Fully serviceable road bike

Don't worry, we will help you get faster, fitter and more capable on a cycle and whilst these rides are primarily training rides for the Tour de Ralph all are welcome. If you are unsure we have a qualified cycle coach who will meet and ride with you on flat paths with no traffic and assess your needs and abilities. What have you got to lose? Sadly we don't accommodate E bikes at the time being.
