Lancashire
FY8 5QF

Light Ash By Di K
This is a ride, designed and ridden by Di K, with a start point at Lowther Gardens. For those travelling to Lytham, parking will be ‘on street’ around the gardens.
This ride is suitable for all bikes. The ride will commence from Lowther Pavilion and head across the road and onto the Promenade. We will turn left towards the Hospital and then join the main road, using the cycle lane, as we travel towards Wrea Green and on to Kirkham, then we will ride towards Lea Town and then turn up toward Catforth, swinging around to, then passing Myerscough College, we will turn into the access road to our refreshment stop, not at Light Ash Farm, but at Myerscough College.
The return route will include the villages of Great Eccleston, Elswick, Singleton and Weeton before heading back to Lytham and finishing the ride at Lowther Gardens.
We'll ride at a steady pace of 10 - 12 mph on this ride and we'll keep our pace at a level so that we can all stay together.
Remember, this is not a race, but a leisurely ride at a pace to suit the slowest in the group!
Please check your bike over the night before the ride, tyres inflated, all bolts tight, lubricated. Clothing, Helmet & lights checked & ready. Please ensure you have a pump and a couple of spare tubes in case of punctures and a good secure lock.
It would be great to have some new & some familiar faces on this ride, you're all welcome & I look forward to riding with you.
Please arrive at least 15 mins before the ride start time, so that we are able to get away at the stated time
