Liferiders Sunday Social - Hampsthwaite for Tea & Cake

Starting at The Zone (Hornbeam Pk) we make our way through quiet streets to the Stray and take the cycle path all the way to Ripley. Pausing for the sights, we continue past Ripley Castle towards Clint (walking up the little hill is totally acceptable!). Admiring the views at the top of Clint Bank we descend into Hampsthwaite and enjoy, delicious refreshments at Sophie's Cafe. After enjoying the refuelling and conversation, we take it very slowly up (a slightly easier hill) towards Killinghall. On the way through Knox we pause on the delightful and ancient pack horse bridge, heading back to the cycle path and retracing our steps to Hornbeam Park.

A lovely sociable ride around the spa town of Harrogate, using quieter roads, paths and cycle paths!

Mainly quieter roads and cycle paths. Not completely traffic free, but on a Sunday traffic should be minimal
