Let’s Ride to Cambois and back to the Couples Sculpture for a fish and chip supper

Our ride will start at Queen Elizabeth Park Woodhorn at Woodhorn Grange Cookhhouse. ( toilets in the pub and lots of free parking) We’ll cycle around the lake then out of the Museum drive and onto the cycle track to Cambois. We’ll then head back up to Newbiggen and stop at the new fish and chip shop or bring a picnic while we do some dolphin spotting, if we’re lucky ! Back to Woodhorn along the cycle path where you can finish off with a coffee or whatever takes your fancy in the pub.

The Important Stuff

The route we will be cycling over today are quiet roads. Therefore, this rides is suitable for Road Bikes , Hybrids , Gravel , Mountain bikes. E-bikes riders are very welcome to join us.

IMPORTANT STUFF….
• You should pay particular attention to your bike being in good working order before attending a ride so as to minimise risks and disruption to rides.

• Be organised and bring your own items e.g.
- Spare inner tube
- Tyre levers and pump
- Multi tool
- Lock
- Bike lights
- Gloves
- Drink
- Snacks
- Suitable clothing,
- Helmets are recommended, but not mandatory.

• PLEASE DRESS APPROPRIATELY

If the weather is bad we will only contact you if we are cancelling the ride and will do so no later than 9am on the day by putting a message in the ‘conversation’ tab in the ride. You should receive a notification by email if there is a message. If you have not heard from us we are still riding

Because some of this ride is on quiet country roads it will be unsuitable for children and beginners.
