From the West Swindon car park, we will ride up to Shaw Ridge, then along the ridge heading for Lydiard Park. We join the road for a while before the next section of cycle path takes us through Grange Park and down to Windmill Hill business park. We cross the Great Western Way at the lights and then ride through Blagrove business park to ride adjacent to Great Western Way on the cycle path. At Mannington we cross Wootton Basset road then turn right and cycle through Wichelstowe. The route then takes us past Nationwide's HQ up to the Marlborough Road, where we cross and head for The Lawns, dropping down to Queens's Drive cycle path, then turning into Walcot and heading for the town centre. We link up with the old canal cycle path and head out towards West Swindon again, looping through Westlea and its cycle paths to rejoin Shaw Ridge and drop back down to the West Swindon car park.

An evening ride around Swindon on roads and cycle paths through some of the town's green spaces.

We'll be riding on a combination of quiet roads and cycle paths in Swindon.

As this is a short ride, there won't be any official stops.

Please bring a bottle for your bike with your favourite thirst quencher and snacks to keep you going. For all your rides we recommend that you bring a spare inner tube that is suitable for your bike, plus a pump. If your wheels are bolted on, then please bring a spanner that fits your bike's wheel nuts. You should dress appropriately for the weather and consider bringing your mobile phone along with cash or a payment card. As this is an evening ride, please make sure that you have lights for your bike.

We welcome anyone to join us and ride with us, whether this is your first time or someone who has participated on previous rides. We will never leave anyone behind.
