Let's Ride Coventry City Cycle route & Canal Ride 1.

This 7.5 mile ride is one of a series, using Coventry City Council's cycle maps, designed to help you navigate your way around Coventry on your bike for leisure, shopping trips or a commute to work. This ride is based on Coventry's cycle routes 1&2, and is an 'out and back' ride starting at the canal basin and finishing with the opportunity for refreshments at Playwrights cafe at the end.

From the canal basin we'll head north, mainly on quiet roads, towards Jubilee Crescent in Radford, then onto the Arena Shopping Park returning to the basin via the canal towpath. Please note the towpath is in good condition throughout but a little narrow in sections, therefore you will need to be confident in your bike control. There are a few short sections where we have to walk the bike at very busy junctions so no need to worry about riding in a lot of traffic. Our trained ride leaders will look after you and guide you on your way!

For those new to riding with us, be assured we ride at a pace to suit everyone and will stop to rest weary legs if need be! You'll need to dress for the weather and bring a spare inner tube and pump in case of punctures.
