Starting from - The start point is the free parking along the side of Passage Road. We can park for 5 hours here which should be more than enough time. Come off the M48 and head very briefly down the A403 towards Pilning before turning right onto Passage Road. Head along here and down the hill. Once the road flattens out, you will see the parking area. If you go along a little way, the parking gets a bit wider so easier to park. There aren't any toilets here but the services are at the M48 junction a couple of minutes away. If you need an accurate location then here is the what3words address ///rafters.cemented.prompts, BS35 4BG

We head along Passage road and then cross the main road to join the cycle path and the quiet lanes to Northwick. Then we follow the paths and lanes to New Passage and the sea wall. A short section of sea wall and then we skirt Severn Beach and cycle traffic free out through the business park and over the M49 to reach Berwick Lane. We cycle along the lane for about 2 miles until we turn onto Hallen Road and Ison Hill (which is a climb as you would expect). Then we go mostly traffic free again as we head up towards and into Blaise Castle estate. There is about a mile of path to cycle through as we wind our way to the lunch stop.
After lunch we leave the park and cycle briefly along the road before heading traffic free again for 6 miles as we head back to Severn Beach. Then it's a short stretch on the road before we re-join our outbound route before Northwick and return back to Passage Road.

An looping ride out to explore Blaise Castle estate. It is a mostly fairly flat route with a climb just before the lunch stop.

The route is a mix of quiet lanes and traffic free cycle paths

We will stop at the cafe on the castle estate for lunch.

Please wear a helmet and bring along some money and a lock for the lunch stop. It is also a good idea to carry a spare tube just in case.

We never leave anyone behind
