Leigh Sports Village - Worsley Old Hall Circular

We will be leaving Leigh Sports Village via Pennington Flash and joining the canal to Astley Green, from there we go across the fields using the old tramway and tracks the the RHS Bridgewater, from there we climb up to the cycle path on Leigh Road before talking the paths across Worsley Park Golf Club and arriving at Worsley Hall
Once we've had refreshments we rejoin the paths across the golf course which link up with the Worsley Loop line and ride back through Worsley Woods past Worsley Delph.
We then rejoin the Bridgewater canal in Worsley Village to ride back to Leigh

The majority of the ride is flat using canal paths, gravel tracks, tarmac shared paths and woodland paths apart from a short section through Astley Green Village

We will stop for refreshments at Worsley Old Hall. Cash or cards accepted.

You will need a helmet, appropriate clothing, cash or cards if you intend to buy refreshments, a spare inner tube, pump and basic tools.

First timers or regulars all welcome.
