DH7 9TT

Please note this is classed as a hilly ride.

We will start from Diggerland. Up out of LP with a cheeky hill climb (admiring the vies at the top! ) before descending to Quebec. Here we will drop down into Esh winning and join the Deerness Valley track at Connie Lewcock corner. At Broompark we will rejoin the road and enjoy another climb up Lowes Barn bank followed by descent to Prebends Bridge. Through the city, admiring cathedral and castle before one final climb up into ‘. The Light’ 12 miles ish
The Light has a cafe (It may well be very busy as it’s opening day) so suggest bring drinks and snacks. There are cycle racks. Some seating and grassed areas to sit if weather is good.
Our return journey will be via Witton Gilbert,Langley Park if anyone coming by car.

We strongly recommend you wear a helmet and you carry with you 2 spare inner tubes that fit your bike. We also recommend that you consider the weather conditions and dress appropriately.
If weather is not conducive to this ride, we will message by 8.30

We look forward to celebrating with you:)

Celebrating the opening of The Light and other celebrations.

Mostly B roads cycle tracks and railway tracks.

We never leave anyone behind
