Lakeside to Markham Grange Garden Centre

From Lakeside we will follow a shared path to the race course and follow the cycle path into town and through the market area and by the Minster to North Bridge - crossing the railway and river and join the Greenway at the back of Pets at Home. We will ride along the Greenway/TPT to Woodlands then cut through Brodsworth Country Park to Markham Grange. We will return along the Roman Ridge using the cycle path beside York Road from the Sun Inn to North Bridge returning to Lakeside via Doncaster High Street.

A traffic free route through town using designated cycle paths and shared paths to join the greenway to Woodlands and on to Markham Grange via Brodsworth Country Park. Returning via Roman Ridge.

Most of the route is off road on shared paths and quiet residential roads.

We will stop for refreshments at The Boiler House Restaurant at Markham Grange.

Helmets are recommended and riders should bring cash or card to pay for refreshments and a spare inner tube and tools to fit it in case of a puncture.
