Lakeside to Jimmy Piggs

From Lakeside we will go round the back of the Dome and cross over Bawtry Road and ride through Rose Hill and on to Cantley Park exiting the park into Sandal Beat Wood and then on to Armthorpe and Shaw Wood following Mere Lane to Edenthorpe and Jimmy Piggs cafe near Tescos. We will return along Mere Lane and a different route through Shaw Wood then on to the cycle path beside Armthorpe Lane and back into Sandall Beat and back to Lakeside.

We will ride on shared paths and through Sandal Beat wood and Shaw Wood on bridle ways to Jimmy Piggs near Tesco at Edenthorpe returning by a slightly different route.

Most of the route is traffic free and mountain bikes, hybrid bikes with off road tyres and ebikes are suitable

We will stop at Jimmy Piggs for refreshments

Helmets are recommended and you should bring a spare inner tube and tools required to change it in case of a puncture. You will also need cash or card to pay for your refreshments.
