Jo Rigby's Memorial Ride ( Wear it Pink)

The route will be a return round trip of approximately 40 miles, route to be clarified beforehand. Please arrive 10 minutes early for the bike M check.

We will meet at Burrs Country Park at the wheel with the birds and fish on it and do a bike M check and ride brief before setting off. The ride will incorporate the "Wear it Pink" campaign for Breast cancer and will be ridden in memory of Jo who sadly passed away earlier this year. Please wear pink or safely decorate your bike with pink.

The route has not yet been ridden by leaders but will be ridden and risk assessed beforehand. It is anticipated to include traffic free cycleways, quieter roads and busy main roads but you will be supported at these busier junctions.

There will be regular stops for your own drinks and snacks along the way. We will eat in the cafe at Irlam Station.

Helmets are compulsory, please ensure your bike is in good working order with tyres pumped up and bring a spare inner tube specific for your bike if not tubeless. Money for the cafe will also be required. Please bear in mind that the cafe stop is after about 20 miles so come prepared with any snacks you may require.
