IWD2024 celebratory ride for International Women's Day in Manchester

Starting at the bike library at GROWE we will be riding through Newton Heath, Clayton Vale, Velodrome, Manchester City Etihad stadium and the city centre to join a gathering of wonderful women on cycles at the Emmeline Pankhurst statue at St Peter's Square. From here a mass ride of noisy and joyfull women will pootle along Oxford Rd and through central park to our destination at Victoria Baths where food will be provided for the riders by Platfields Park Mud Kitchen. Join with us to celebrate on the bikes and cycles!

Toilets are available at the starting point at the bike library at GROWE and at Victoria Baths where we'll stop for food and celebrations There will be a decent stop at the Emmeline Pankhurst statue where we meet with other cycling groups for the main ride where people can grab a drink / snack or use the loo.

Please, dress with colour and make some noise. Bikes can be brought indoors during the celebrations at Victoria Baths, but bring a lock to secure your bike
