A beautiful route through leafy lanes on the outskirts of Chorley through to Brindle, Houghton Bottoms and into Bamber Bridge for our café stop. We. then make our way back via Walton Summit before reaching Carr Brook linear path - a brook side off road path that completes our ride. Some small inclines but we can tackle these together. This is a hybrid ride where the pace will be steady.
Our stop at the popular Valley café is towards the end of the ride but is worth the wait.
Please wear a helmet and have items to fix a puncture including 2 innertubes, tyre levers and a pump. Bring a drink and snacks and a payment method for the café .
Don't forget your bike lock.
You should have a plan to get home in case of mechanical breakdown.

A wonderful stop at the Valley café towards the end of the ride. A new café for our group

This is a road ride with a difference - its a slower pace with time to take in some of the characterful houses along the route and a weir thrown in for good measure.
