About the route
A breezing Wigan Adventure, starting at Preston Marina, we will pick up the Guild Wheel, taking us to Uclan Sports centre, where we will come off the guild wheel and pick up the Lancaster Canal, ( It would not be a Social Breeze Wigan Ride without a canal ! ) The tow path is part stone path , and part grassed bank, for around 4 miles we will journey along the canal upto Bilsborrow, where we will stop for refreshments at Guys Thatched Hamlett.
So please bring some money for refreshment, after a nice refreshing break, we will pick up the same route back,
