Hunting for Burrs

Leaving the park behind us, we head off onto the paths and trails of the surrounding areas of Bolton and Bury. Soon we arrive at the Manchester, Bolton and Bury canal where will meander along the towpath.

Using the under-pass in Bury we cycle up to join the Kirklees Trail onto Burrs Country Park Greenmount where we will have our coffee stop at the cafe. Then we return via the same route to the Park.

Please ensure your bike is in good working condition. Check your gears and brakes at least the night before.

We request that everyone wears a helmet for safety anyone not wearing a helmet will be unable to join us on the ride. Spare inner tubes, tyre levers, pump, a lock and some cash for the cafe stop would be advisable.

and email it to [email protected] before the ride.

Photos will be taken during the ride which will be shared on social media. If you do not wish your photo to be taken, please advise a ride leader before the ride.
