From Ancrum taking the B6400 over the A68 turning up the Peniel Haugh road before turning right to Fairnington and Pirnie and Roxburgh. Continuing on to Roxburgh Barns we join the A699 taking a right here to Kelso.
Through Kelso we take the B6364 through Stitchill bearing left as the B6364 goes right.
Onwards to Homebyres and Hume orchard where we turn right past Cragside and onto Hume Castle(highest point 205m ) photographic opportunity!
After stopping to take in the vista and have a drink and snack if required we take a right at the War Memorial. We continue to Hume Hall take a left then right to Cheviot View and Kaimridge and take a right then left to Ednam over the River Eden Water on the B6461.
We will take a right along the top of Kelso racecourse.
Back through Kelso one way system heading to Seasons Cafe for a late lunch before returning via Roxburgh, Nisbet and Ancrum Cross Keys Pub


Please ensure you have a well maintained bike( we will do an M check before leaving)
A spare inner tube and tools for your bike,
Helmets are mandatory.
