Ealand To Humber Bridge And Back

A fantastic route going thru some lovely villages, may vary a little on the way back but mainly a there and back route.

Setting off from Ealand we go along the beautiful canal to keadby over the river Trent then on a lovely bridleway over to Scunthorpe thru the magnificent park which takes us up towards the lovely lakes of blue lagoon. We then head towards Normandy hall we skirt around the grounds and golf club then heading towards the village of Roxby and Appleby .We head towards the river anclome and after cycling around the banks of this beautiful river we head up towards the picturesque village saxby all saints we after that we cycle along the road into south ferriby then onto the Viking way alongside the magnificent river Humber . We make our way under the magnificent structure the Humber bridge to our main cafe stop at the Humber hideaway cafe Humber estuary. After our much needed break we then go over the magnificent bridge onto the north side and do a loop around hessle we then cycle back over the bridge and have a option to stop for a ice cream at Barton waterfront . We then follow the same route back to Ealand /crowle .

Canal towpaths, country lanes .woodland trails , farm trails . River side trails and some busy roads .

Helmets are advisable. Suitable clothing, tools and spare inner tubes .
