Join us for a ride to Howarth for the first day of the Steampunk weekend, it should be quieter and hopefully we will see some fabulous outfits

There are quite a few challenging ups and downs on this route, full battery charge and good brakes will be required. No one will be left behind, it will be a steady ride but at a nice pace

A slightly different route out to break the monotony of Bradford road, we will head over the bridge onto Beck lane, Lady lane, Sty lane, Micklethwaite lane, Otley road, East Morton, Riddlesden, Royd Ings avenue, Green Head road, Shann lane to the tarn, Laycock, Todley Hall road, Oakworth, Lord lane which brings out out where the old Edinburgh Woollen Mill shop was.

Bring your own packed lunch, have a picnic on the steps or choice from many of the cafes available

Depending on how busy Main street is, we will either ride down the cobbles or head for Rawdon road, past the station, up to Brow road, Brow Top road, Hewenden Viaduct, Bents lane, Harden lane, Harden road dropping back into Bingley

Usual, spare inner tube, warm clothing, pennies for a hot drink/lunch
