Hoghton Tower’s Christmas Market

This is a road ride so you need to be confident riding on both major and minor roads. We will use designated cycle paths where applicable.
We set off from “Tommy’s” bench and head towards Belmont Road. Cycling through the pretty villages of Belmont and Abbey passing the sailing club following the undulating road through open countryside. We will then ride through Riley Green and on to Hoghton.

Hoghton Tower Farmers’ Market is a monthly celebration of Lancastrian fresh food and crafts; a wonderful way to pass Sunday mornings and support local farmers, producers, crafters and artists. There is a £2 charge to enter.

The return will be through Wheelton, Chorley, Adlington and Horwich.

Please come equipped with a spare inner tube, tyre levers, pump, lock, water and money for refreshments.
