Hodsock- Turner Wood- Aston Ponds 36m

Steady ride over open countryside. A bit of a climb shortly after we start, up thru Pinchmill Farm to Wickersley.
Then it’s across fields to Thurcroft, cycle lanes to North Anston, more fields and woods to Langold, Hodsock, Carlton in Lindrick, Woodsetts, over to the canal to take us back to Wales then down to Aston Ponds.

A lovely scenic and quiet route across lovely countryside, and not a lot of climbing.

Dirt trails & paths, bridleways, woodland tracks, canal towpaths, and a bit of tarmac too.

Cafe in Langold Oark, and the cafe at Aston fishingnponds.

You need to be able to lift your bike over a stile or two, please always wear a helmet and suitable clothing, make sure you have the means to repair and rainwater a tyre puncture IF you need to. We’ll help but you need to be prepared too.
