Starting at Five Rivers we ride down the Wylye Valley taking in all the Churches in the area. We do a circular route and arrive back in Salisbury late afternoon, even staying out till the Churches close at 6pm.

A ride through the Wylye Valley visiting all the Churches in the villages

B roads and country lanes

We stop at all the Churches down the Wylye Valley. Spending 10 to 15 minutes at each one to marvel and maybe photograph, to have refreshments and a chat with the locals

Although there is the opportunity to have biscuits and cake and a drink at most of the Churches, it is advisible to bring a packed lunch and your own favourite snacks and a drink to keep you going for the day.

Anyone who wants to cycle about 40 miles and visit between 15 and 20 Churches in the valley is most welcome. You don't have to be a Church goer to appreciate the beauty of old Churches and perhaps help to raise money for the Historic Churches Trust to keep these places alive.
