If anyone is bringing a bike using an on-roof bike rack, please be aware there is a height restriction on the car park. Alternative parking can be found across at Catch. HX4 8AL

This Breeze Calderdale ride is open for anyone to join

Free, women-only bike rides led by experienced Breeze Champions. They are a great way to get started in cycling or to improve your skills, whether you are a beginner or a seasoned cyclist.

Leaving the cafe we will use the cycle path to take us to Saddleworth Road, avoiding the traffic lights in West Vale. We will then head up Saddleworth Road, stopping for recovery stops as and when we need to. The aim of the ride is to build confidence on hills - it is not a race - we take it as steady as we need to so that everyone can ride the hill successfully to the top. We will regroup at the top of the hill, enjoy a nice downhill and have a cafe stop at the end of the ride.

Quiet roads

We will stop as many times as we need to conquer the hill!

Please make sure you have a roadworthy bike, a pump, spare inner tubes, money, a fully charged phone and a helmet.
