Hebden Heights - MTB

Come and join us on this MTB social ride. Please note - this route has not been risk assessed ( time restrictions) therefore is definitely a ride social. It has been ridden previously but 12 months ago. Ebikes welcome but bear in mind there maybe gates etc and you will need to lift your own bike if needed.

We leave Hebden Bridge on a major road for almost a mile before we take a quiet lane to the car park at Hardcastle crags. It is here we start our ascent towards Widdup Resi then across to Hurstwood and Cant Clough. Starting our return leg, we head towards Todmorden and then hopefully, take in Stoodly pike if our energy levels havent been sapped.

Please bring plenty of snacks and sufficient water as there are no planned stops until the end of the ride. This is a long, enduring ride with a couple of technical sections but don't panic, you can get off and push if necessary.

Please ensure you have all the tools and repair equipment for your own bike and your emerg contact know where you are as we are not staying local. If the weather is not favorable, this ride will be postponed. At the end of the ride, please feel free to stay and join us for food in one of the local eateries. It is a ride social after all.
