Haigh Heights

Off we go over to Haigh by cycling along quiet roads, country lanes and a stretch on the Leeds-Liverpool canal path. There is a section after Red Rock on this canal path that is rutted and can be quite slippery with mud if it has been raining, so take care. At the green bridge we'll head up to Haigh Courtyard passing by the Hall. We can have a quick pit stop here before heading back up to Rivington through Little Scotland.

Please ensure you are equipped with your own PPE (mask, hand gel etc) and that you maintain the social distance set out by the Government.

On all Horwich Ride Social rides you must be equipped with a helmet, inner tubes, tyre levers and a pump. Don't worry about the latter too much, someone usually has one with them. Please dress appropriately for the weather and wear suitable footwear.

A little snack and drink is recommend in case there isn't anywhere to purchase food/drink items.
