Our last ride before Christmas is a shorter, easy-going local ride

From Ealing, we ride through Gunnersbury Park, and make a short detour to the neighbouring Gunnersbury Cemetery, to view the imposing and tragic Katyń Monument https://www.britishpoles.uk/the-turbulent-history-of-the-creation-of-the-katyn-monument-in-london/ . Then we join Cycleway 9 through Chiswick and into Hammersmith, where we cross Hammersmith Bridge and ride on into Barnes. We will stop for refreshments at the café in the quirky Old Sorting Office Arts Centre https://www.osoarts.org.uk/cafe-bar .

For our return ride, we ride through Mortlake and cross back over the river at Chiswick Bridge. We ride through Duke’s Meadows and then turn through Grove Park to reach Kew Bridge. We take Cycleway 9 towards Brentford and then turn up through South Ealing back to Ealing Town Hall.
