Cycling along quiet roads, bike paths & tow paths, we will head down Berry Brew through Sunny Bank Park and the Ashton Moss cycle paths to the Floop and Abbey Hey. Return will be via the Floop, Clayton Vale and Ten Acre Lane.

Our 13 mile ride starts and ends at GROWE Bike library located on Marlborough Drive, Failsworth. Entrance is through a metal gate next to a path leading from Marlborough Drive to Rochdale canal.

We'll be cycling along quiet roads, towpath and cycle paths - even on the short stretches of Ashton's ring roads - as we make our way to Portland Basin and back.

Portland Basin is our cafe stop before we return back to Failsworth and GROWE.

Please check the weather and make sure you have the right clothing. Money for a snack at the cafe and a bike lock would also be useful.
