This scenic cycling route starts at the GROWE Bike Library in Failsworth, heading along the Rochdale Canal, offering a peaceful ride alongside the water. After leaving the canal, the route follows quiet roads through Chadderton, providing a mix of urban and suburban scenery as you make your way towards Oldham.

The ride then reaches Alexandra Park, a beautiful green space with tree-lined paths and open parkland—perfect for a short rest stop. From here, the route continues through the historic Park Bridge area, known for its industrial heritage and picturesque surroundings, before heading into the stunning Daisy Nook Country Park, where woodland trails and scenic waterways create a refreshing ride.

Finally, the route loops back towards Failsworth, returning to the GROWE Bike Library, completing a varied and enjoyable ride featuring canals, parks, quiet roads, and historical sites.

This scenic circular route from GROWE Bike Library in Failsworth offers a mix of canal paths, quiet roads, and green spaces. Riders will enjoy a peaceful stretch along the Rochdale Canal, then pass through Chadderton and Oldham to the beautiful Alexandra Park. The journey continues through the historic Park Bridge and the scenic Daisy Nook Country Park, before looping back to the start. A perfect ride combining urban cycling, nature, and heritage.

We will ride along the canal towpaths, cycling paths, park roads, cobles in park bridge, tarmac and roads.

Please, bring water to stay hydrated, money/card for the cafe and lock.
