Cross Hexham bridge then turning right at the end of the bridge following the Tyne west. We follow the railway line (Hadrian’s route 72) to Warden. This is a lovely cycle ride up the Tyne Valley. The cycle ride is 50 miles, a mixture of off road and quiet roads and mainly flat although there is a climb near Corbridge on the outward journey and a shorter climb out of Corbridge on the way back.
This ride is for riders above beginner level, it is suitable for any bike. There is no number restriction and this is a no drop ride, however, we aim to cycle at 10-12 miles per hour.
