Greenmount Glide

Leaving the park behind us we head off onto the paths and trails of the surrounding areas of Bolton and Bury. We use the canal then the under-pass in Bury to glide up and join the Kirklees Trail into Greenmount where we will have our stop at The Hub Tea Rooms!

Feeling refreshed, we leave the woodlands views behind us and negotiate a couple of roads and junctions into Radcliffe and back to the Park

Please ensure your bike is in good working condition. Check your gears and brakes at least the night before.

Although helmets are only recommended by law and not deemed to be essential, anyone
not wearing a helmet will be unable to join in on the ride, unfortunately. Please bring spare
inner tubes, tyre levers and pump. A little cash and a lock for the cafe stop.


You must be a member of Horwich Ride Social to join this ride. Membership is free, just email [email protected] for a form or get one off our website HorwichRideSocial.org. Please return it at least 24 hours before the start of the ride.

Photographs will be taken during the ride which will be shared on our social media. Please let a ride leader know if you would prefer not to appear in any of them.
