Green Tea to Emily's - 16 miles

10am meet by Marquis of Granby Pub (Crabtree Lane/Marquis Lane)

We are off to Emilys in Whitwell for a cuppa. We will head out towards Kimpton and Codicote, returning via Bendish.

Our route will be a mix of quiet lanes and a few stretches of slightly busier roads. This ride is suitable for all bikes and all completely on road. There will be hills but don't worry, we always regroup at the top.

Do also check your emails and text messages before leaving for last minute updates.

The important bits:

Pls ensure your bike is in good working order and you have an emergency backup/taxi number to call on in case of issues.

Ride Related:
- check your bike the night before (Tyre pressure will go down when your bike has not been used or from use!)
- carry 2 spare inner tubes, tyre levers and correct pump
- Money for coffee/emergencies. Helmet (compulsory on ride-sorry!)
- Water and a snack, just in case
- Appropriate bright and warm clothing (Rain/Sun – hopefully the latter)
- Lights (not essential but a plus in winter)
