Starting from - Our starting point will be "Go Ape" at Rivington Lower Barn.
Free parking and toilet facilities are available nearby.

Please arrive at least 15 - 20 minutes before the start time. We will be setting off at 09:30am.

We will start off with a road section to Adlington where we head off road along trails, canal tow paths and quiet country lanes to our cafe stop at "The Gates". After a short break, we make our way through Haigh Country Park, again using a variety of paths and trails. Our final stretch from Aspull is back along the road.
Be prepared to get a bit muddy and, at this time of year, it may be worth fitting your mudguards so that you don't spray your fellow riders travelling behind.
This ride will be suitable for mountain bikes, gravel bikes and hybrid bikes with off road tyres.

Mostly off road trails with a few short sections of connecting road

A refreshment stop will be about half way

All riders must wear a helmet and bring a waterproof for our changeable weather. Please also bring a spare innertube and any other items that you may need for trailside repairs. Please also be self sufficient with water and a snack.
