Leaving Ben Rhydding its over the bridge onto Denton Lane, turning right onto Carters lane for the long climb up to Langbar, (its a staged climb) then drop down to Beamsley out to A59, (the road is closed) up and left onto Storiths lane, there is a steep descent, at the bottom we have to dismount and use the bridge to cross the ford, then its onto Appletreewick, Hebden where we have a fabulous view of Burnsall and Grassington for lunch
We will have a 40 minute lunch break, plenty of cafes to choose from or have a stroll around the village
Our return route is back to Burnsall over the river, Appletreewick onto Storiths lane, then through the gate by Cavendish Pavilion B6160 and usual route back to Ilkley via Nesfield
