Grantham Canal and Cotgrave Pit Rail

Holme Pierrepont Visitor Car Park (Skye Trail Cafe), Adbolton Lane towards Radcliffe on Trent, cycle path on route of old colliery railway to Cotgrave Country Park, Grantham Canal tow path to Cafe at Hickling canal basin, continue on tow path to Canal Lane crossing near Long Clawson, follow lane and road to Colston Bassett and then on towards Cropwell Bishop but re-joining the Canal again and back along the tow path to Cropwell Bishop and then Cotgrave, Tolerton and Basingfield, then road back to Gamston and Holme Pierrepont.
