Starting from - High Street Car Park
Garstang, Preston PR3 1WZ

The best way to find the car park is to use What3words and this is the link to use ///revolting.manliness.trusts

The car park is Pay & Display and think it’ll cost £3.40
There are toilets at the beginning which you need to pay for, unless you have a Radar Key. I happen to have one. PR3 1WZ

PR3 1WZ

This is a road ride, mainly on quiet country lanes an B roads with very little traffic. It’s not a ride of massive hills but it does have a few rolling hills. About 1500 feet of climbing which is nothing over the distance.

This is not a heads down bum up ride, so if you want to go at speed, this ride is not for you.

Starting from the High Street Car Park we head to towards Street & Dolphinholme Scorton and Lea Green. From there we go through Galgate (quickly) then on to Glasson for the main break. There are places to eat or bring your own snack. This is also where the Smokehouse is!

From Glasson we head towards Cockerham via Upper Thurnham then on to Forton, then on to Winmarleigh and Nateby before coming back into Garstang.

The main break will be at Glasson Dock where is a choice of 2 cafes and a pub. There also the Smoke House shop which will be open. So if you intend buying anything, bring a bag to carry it but remember, you’re halfway through the ride.
