** Note the different day from usual- this ride takes place on a Thursday! **

This is a short ride, starting from either Ealing or Paddington. For those starting from Ealing, we will ride via Acton, Wormwood Scrubs, and North Kensington to the Elizabeth Line exit at Paddington, where we will meet up with those who prefer to start the ride there.

We will then ride up through Marylebone to Regent’s Park. We will visit the recently opened Queen Elizabeth II Garden which is just off the Broad Walk https://www.royalparks.org.uk/visit/parks/regents-park-primrose-hill/queen-elizabeth-ii-garden and then move on to Queen Mary’s Garden with its glorious displays of roses https://www.royalparks.org.uk/visit/parks/regents-park-primrose-hill/queen-marys-garden.
If the weather is fine, we will bring our own food for a picnic in the gardens. If we have inclement weather, we will go to the café on the Broad Walk https://www.royalparks.org.uk/visit/parks/regents-park-primrose-hill/broad-walk-cafe-0 for refreshments.

We will then leave Regent’s Park and ride up to the Camley Street Natural Park https://www.wildlondon.org.uk/nature-reserves/camley-street-natural-park. Here, we can explore this small nature reserve in the heart of Central London, and maybe have a drink at the café, with views of the new developments around King’s Cross, including the striking gasholders which are now luxury apartments https://wilkinsoneyre.com/projects/gasholders-london .

** Please note that the ride ends at Camley Street. **

You are free to make your way home in your own time, by public transport or bike. King’s Cross/St Pancras and Euston stations are nearby, and it is also a short ride to Camden Road station for the London Overground Mildmay Line.
