This Guided Ride is a beginners mountain bike ride, brought to you by a qualified Fundamentals of Mountain Bike Leader. To deliver rides as per the remit of the Fundamentals of MTB Award, we also hold a valid 2 day outdoor first aid certificate and Safeguarding Course

From the starting point which is the car park for the Great House Barn Tea Rooms we head towards the Pike for the fantastic views. (Can’t go to Rivington without doing the Pike can we). From the Pike we head down to Montcliffe then towards Burnt Edge leading up to Wilder’s Moor
Wilders Wood takes us down to the school where we drop down to Rivington Road leading to the finish. The ride can be extended depending how everyone feels.

This is Remembrance Sunday so there will be a Minute's Silence when we reach the Pike

Covers quite a lot of different terrains

Quiet Lanes and Trails with some Single Track

Will stop when require and about half way for a proper break

Helmets and a spare innertube for the bike. Bring something to eat and drink

We especially welcome newbies!
