This Guided Ride is a beginners mountain bike ride, brought to you by a qualified Fundamentals of Mountain Bike Leader. To deliver rides as per the remit of the Fundamentals of MTB Award, we also hold a valid 2 day outdoor first aid certificate and Safeguarding Course.

From the car park we turn left and head towards Trawden then on up towards Lower Coldwell Reservoir which is all quiet lanes and roads.
From there we go off road on the Pendle Way alongside Bedding Mill Moor stopping for our break at the half way point.
Still on the Pendle Way we pick up the Bronte Way to drop into Wycoller and then climb up to look at The Atom.
Then a nice easy ride back to the car park. The ride is 10 miles

The start time is the start time for the ride, not the arrival time. Please be ready by 1030.

Route rating

5 stars (2) Reviews

This is not a technical ride with the first part being on tarmac

Quiet roads and lanes then we hit the trails which are not technical but will have water and mud on them.

We will stop half way around for a proper break in a sheltered area and will stop at regular points to regroup etc.

Helmets must be worn Bring a spare innertube that fits your bike and a pump Bring something to eat & drink

We especially welcome newbies!
