This Guided Ride is a beginners mountain bike ride, brought to you by a qualified Fundamentals of Mountain Bike Leader. To deliver rides as per the remit of the Fundamentals of MTB Award, we also hold a valid 2 day outdoor first aid certificate and Safeguarding Course.

From Hollingworth Lake car park we head off around the lake anti clockwise to pick up the trail to take us into Littleborough where we pick up the Rochdale Canal. We stay on the canal until the Warland area. From there we do a short stretch on the A6033. Turn right to climb up above Calderbrook to pick up the Pennine Way which we follow as it weaves it’s way around Ringing Pots Hill and High Lee Slack.
Somewhere in this area we’ll stop for the main break.
Then onwards dropping down to Watergrove Reservoir and Waingap Hill after which we’ll have a go on a Pump Track which is really good fun.after which we go through Healey Dell, passing Broadley!
Touching into the outskirts of Rochdale then passing Clegg Hall before finishing back at Hollingworth.
