Fundamentals of Mountain Bike Ride Llandegla Trails Let's Ride Kettle Crisps

Firstly, don’t be put off by stories you may have heard about Llandegla. All these butch stories of how technical it is etc. It’s not. Whole families go and have a great time. So why shouldn’t you!

The reason for going on a Tuesday is because the place is full of families over weekends.
There are basically 3 routes, Blue, Red and Black. Yes there are others too but we’re not interested in them.

Red is the one we’ll be doing which is well within any bodies capabilities for beginner up to whatever. Be warned, it is mountain biking so there are hills to be climbed with the big one being the beginning which will be done in stages.

We will be doing at least 11 miles but can do more if decided once we're back at the centre

This is all off road on forest trails and single track

We will stop on a regular basis and to regroup when required. We may also stop for a snack which will be decided by the group on the day

Bring clothing to suit the conditions and a helmet is a must. Bring an innertube to suit tour bike. (one innertube does not fit all types of wheel). Bring something to eat and drink
