We leave Barton and cross the bridge, we follow the cycle path to Melton and onto Elloughton and Brantingham where we meander our way up to High Hunsley. After catching our breath and admiring the views we pick up Littlewood road heading down into Walkington and onto our cafe stop at Folly lake. After a much needed rest we make our way home via Little Weighton, Welton, North Ferriby, up to Swanland and down into Hessle to pick up the bridge back to Barton and Barrow.
The route is a challenge with over 2000ft of climbing but this is not a race, over the distance we will aim to be around 12mph average.
