On the day before International Women’s Day, we will be riding into Central London to visit the Florence Nightingale Museum by St Thomas’ Hospital

From Ealing, we ride into Central London via Cycleway 9 through Chiswick and Hammersmith. We have a brief pause in Holland Park, before riding through Kensington Gardens and into Hyde Park. Crossing Hyde Park Corner, we ride down to Buckingham Palace, then leave Cycleway 3 to divert into the historic back streets of Westminster.
We will pause in Christchurch Gardens to view the memorial to the Suffragettes

After crossing the river over Lambeth Bridge, we will pause again to view the memorial to the SOE Agents, especially Violette Szabo, on Lambeth Palace Road

From here, we will ride on to the South Bank Street Food Market for lunch, and then retrace our steps to view the statue to Mary Seacole in front of St Thomas’ Hospital

If you don’t want to visit the Museum, you are welcome to leave after lunch and make your own way home.
For those visiting the Museum, we will ride on afterwards over Westminster Bridge and along the Embankment, turning up at Blackfriars to Farringdon, where we will take the Elizabeth Line back to Ealing.
